Just taking a minute to say thank you
September 10, 2019

Just wanted to say thank you again for the excellent care you gave Sam. His recovery is truly amazing, especially considering the amount of blockage that he had. We are so lucky and blessed to have found a surgeon with such superior skill and ability (and drive over 100 miles to see him). The surgery was truly life-changing for him. Thank you sincerely.

Dr. Berger fixed my breathing
Self-verified patient of Dr. Alan S Berger - Posted on June 9th, 2019

I had previously had septoplasty and turbinate reduction done by another doctor to correct breathing issues and sleep apnea in 2014. The surgery aftermath was a nightmare. I was breathing worse out of one nostril, which clearly had an obstruction/septum buckling after the surgery which the old doctor ignored.. this obstruction was not there prior to the surgery. I spent years trying to find doctors that would take a look at it and correct it, and am so glad I found Dr. Berger. This is a man who cares deeply about the work that he does, he is VERY thorough in his note taking and extremely diligent about what the issue is and fixing it. In my case, all he had to do was take one look up both nostrils to see what I was explaining to him. I gave him minimal information on what was actually happening, but when he diagnosed the issue, it made perfect sense.. like he was experiencing the issue himself. The surgery went really well, I had next to no pain, and the issue with breathing was almost immediately resolved after he got done. I sleep better, I can exercise without dealing with breathing issues in my nose, my overall quality of life has greatly improved thanks to him. It is refreshing to deal with a doctor like this. I would happily recommend him to family and friends based on my experience. Thank you, Dr. Berger!

Quick and it worked
Self-verified patient of Dr. Alan S Berger - Posted on January 1st, 2019

I recently had a deviated septum fixed by Dr. Berger. He was able to quickly schedule the operation and I woke up being able to breathe out of both nostrils. I was back at work three or four days later and several months later I still feel great. Highly recommend this procedure.

Too many bloody noses!
Self-verified patient of Dr. Alan S Berger - Posted on April 11th, 2018

It only took 3 visits and one 45 minute surgery for Dr. Berger to fix me up and put a stop to my bloody noses. I had a severely deviated septum and this pain free surgery worked wonders. Dr. Berger DOES NOT use any packing methods. I did not even have to take any pain killers. Amazing. Take a day, get it done, lay flat for a day and enjoy! So happy I finally got this done. Dr. Berger is a real gentleman and I trusted him from the first visit. I highly recommend this practice.

Seamless Surgery & Fantastic Care
Self-verified patient of Dr. Alan S Berger - Posted on December 14th, 2017

I went to Dr. Berger for a deviated septum, he confirmed my assumption and got me scheduled for the procedure in a few weeks. The surgery itself was seamless and quick. I recovered so quickly that I felt like myself after two days. Within the first month, I could see major improvements in my breathing and elimination of all post-op symptoms. It was the best procedure I could've ever done with the best staff to take care of me. Dr. Berger made me feel safe and extremely satisfied with my results.

I have been a patient of Dr. Berger's for many years. Have had a lot of sinus and allergy issues and had nasal polyps removed twice. I'll cut to the chase, it changed my life. Instead of sinus infections every other month and suffering in the Phila area with allergies, I now am essentially free of all that. On top of that the staff, WG location and Dr. Berger's warm professionalism are top notch! Just a great ENT specialist.

My allergist recommended I see Dr. Berger after I had 8 sinus infections in one year. He told me to go to BergerHenry ENT, but to specifically request Dr. Berger. After having a cat scan done, Dr. Berger explained that I had a blockage on the left side of my sinuses and that with his new procedure of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, he could fix the problem and I would feel remarkably better. He was dead on. His staff is just as wonderful as he is. I highly recommend him to all.

Traveled 65 miles one way to visit Dr. Berger. Not like my Lehigh Valley ENT's. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was causing my bad sinus infections. Dr. Berger diagnosed a deviated septum & suggested surgery . Results...like night & day just to say how much better I can breathe again. My ear stopped popping & I'm betting I won't have any more serious sinus infections. I know you can not satisfy everyone but compared to what I been through local this was one of the best moves I ever made. Hats off to his great friendly staff & the fantastic team at Abington Surgical Center. You guys rock. P.S. wife loves ya...I don't snore anymore either. Mike M. Bath Pa.
