Patient Reviews for Dr. Patitucci
Hi Dr. Patitucci,
I hope you are doing well! This is an incredibly long and overdue thank you. There is truly not a day that goes since December 2020 when I got my tonsils removed by you that I am not thankful for that tonsillectomy.
When I got to the surgery center, I was terrified. I was only 20 years old, I was all alone because it was COVID, and waiting for my first surgery, fighting back tears when you came by to check on me. You gave me a side hug and were honest, that it would suck and be painful, but I'd get through it. I have never felt more seen and heard by a doctor. You gave me pain meds and said to set timers to make sure that I took them on time.
When I woke up from surgery, I remember I was crying and I was nervous that I was crying because that is out of the ordinary for me. You assured me that it was normal and made me feel comfortable, and then shared with me your excitement about using a special tool to get my tonsil out (I think it was claw-like? And my tonsil exploded with pus when you grabbed it?) those memories are a little hazy but I do remember your excitement about that boosting my spirits a little.
You gave me the courage, knowledge, and information to go through with that surgery. You had told me a day-by-day for what to expect post-op. Following the surgery, I was so grateful that I had the information about what to expect with each days roller coaster of pain, nausea, scabs falling off, exposed nerve endings, etc. In that moment, that was exactly what I needed.
The following 14 days were brutal. I hated almost every moment of them, BUT I kept remembering you telling me that it would be better when I stopped getting tonsil infections so frequently. At times, I definitely didnt believe you but I am happy to say that in the almost 4 years since getting my tonsils out, I have only had one throat issue (strep), this is especially impressive as I am an elementary school teacher whos constantly around germs and prior to my tonsillectomy I think I had tonsillitis 10 times in 6 months. And luckily, my recent occurrence of strep wasnt too bad since my tonsils werent there to hold the infection so I bounced back pretty quick.
So, long story short - thank you so much for giving my the courage to go into surgery alone, the knowledge to get through the most painful 2 weeks of my life, and for allowing me to be able to swallow without fear that I am in the early stages of another bout of tonsillitis.
While I would never wish a tonsillectomy on anyone, if they have to get one done, I hope they are lucky enough to have you as their doctor.
All the best,
Lily Z.
The first time I was at the practice in East Norriton it was for a second opinion from my Primary Physician with Dr. Pattitucci. Upon entering the practice the front desk receptions were very kind and welcoming especially Rachel. She was very attentive and friendly with a smile on her face. She made me feel welcome and she was great when I checked out as well. She gave me eye contact and was very patient. It is very good to go to a new practice and have someone like Rachel as your first impression. You could tell she cared about me and wanted me to feel comfortable!
I then met Dr. Pattitucci. She walked in with a big smile and introduced herself. I instantly felt at ease by her warmness and her professionalism. She was very informative and helpful with the problem I was having from a previous procedure with another ENT. Then I got sick and I ended up having to revisit Dr. Pattitucci two more times thereafter and each time she was amazing. She followed up on the care I would need and ultimately she ended up solving the problem. It was a scary procedure (peritonsillar abscess) but all through the procedure, I felt so secure and safe as the kind words from Dr. P. put me at ease through it all!
I am happy to tell all my family and friends what a great practice Berger Henry is if they ever need an ENT.
Best regards,
Lori C.
My husband and I wish to express our appreciation for the welcome and confident feelings we have experienced with Berger Henry ENT.
While frantically searching for an ENT who had availability to see my husband in early January this year, we contacted your office and received a most satisfying feeling that we "came to the right place".
In just a few words we would like to thank Dr. Morehouse, who diagnosed and treated Joe at both the East Norriton and Willow Grove offices and, a thank you to Dr. Patitucci who treated me at the East Norriton office.
We appreciate the wonderful Customer Caring Support from your staff. They are the ones who make the first impression with patients.
Please extend our appreciation to all of your Team for taking such good care of both of us.
Best regards,
Joseph and Mary
Good Day!
I had a fabulous awesome amazing visit that just COMPLETELY renewed my faith in your practice once again!
I saw Dr. Lana for a sleep issue (ringing ears) thick throat swollow issues, (especially 6-2022 after covid), that have continued to plague me for some 5 years!
Without a FP office due to closing I lost comfort of a great FP Female Doctor to direct me.
************************************ Great to find AGAIN that skill************************
#1 Please pass on KUDOS- (her personality, bedside manner, Facial affectation, expertise and wisdom just continues to soar.)
#2 I felt HEARD, + eye contact and professionalism and awesome shine of visual affirmations from face and manner and voice. THIS IS SO KEY TO WOMEN!
#3 I Feel hope for the first time in years and resolution. She did the nasal and throat scope and validated I AM NOT NUTS. My thick neck swallow and ringing ears and sleep apnea issues are going to finally be addressed.
************************* THANK YOU for being a SUPERIOR GROUP PRACTICE!***********
I am sure you do not get tons of KUDOS for doing your job. After Medical years of no affirmations for doing what is expected I hope this gives you all a smidge of appreciation.
Thanks again forever.

Having recently visited with Dr. Lana Patitucci, I would like to make a recommendation. I have had seasonal allergies and excessive congestion. Dr. Patitucci treated me and I can say that I have not had the congestion since.
She is more than a doctor. She is a miracle worker!
I highly recommend her.

Dr. Patitucci is extraordinarily kind and quite good at her job! I've been struggling with tinnitus, and she's been immensely helpful with it, taking me through the steps I need to take to prevent it from getting any worse and advising me on what types of drugs and activities to avoid. She is very patient and willing to answer all your questions, an important trait for any doctor to have. I'd recommend her to anyone who's in the market for an ENT specialist!
Words can’t describe what an amazing doctor Lana Patitucci is. After meeting her only once, I knew I was going to love her. She has a great bedside manner. Dr. Patitucci explains exactly what she is going to do during your surgery, gives you the best options, and eases any fears you may have going into the surgery. Prior to coming to Henry Berger ENT, I always had issues breathing and was unable to smell very well. After meeting with Lana, she told me that I had 2 deviated septums. She explained to me that the only option to fix this was to get surgery. At age 26, I was very hesitant and afraid to have surgery because I had never had it before (and I avoided it at all costs). I was extremely afraid so I told her I’d think about it. At my next appointment with Lana, I decided to schedule my surgery. She eased my mind by telling me that the recovery time was quite quick, the surgery took about 20 minutes, and that there would be no packing or black eyes after my surgery. After my surgery, everything that Lana told me would happen…happened. She went so into depth as to how healing would go, I had minor pain, nose bleeds for about 3 weeks on and off and the best part was…no packing in my nose. The surgery was successful. It has been 4 months and I’m able to breathe so much better and smell things that I never smelled before. This surgery was life changing for me. I would highly recommend Lana to anyone who is hesitant like me to having their first surgery. She is absolutely wonderful!
Amazing physician. Diagnosed and solved multiple problems, went to bat with the insurance agency medical director for me, is incredibly compassionate, competent, and personable. The staff is awesome and the entire office experience is wonderful. Who knew medical help could be so warm and engaging?
Dr. Patitucci is a friendly upbeat doctor. She made me feel comfortable right away. She explained the procedure to me in simple terms that were easy to follow so that I knew exactly what was going to happen without question. The professionalism and care she provides is outstanding and I would recommend her to anyone!
I suffered from chronic sinusitis for years with no relief. Dr. Patitucci quickly and accurately diagnosed my deviated septum and gave me treatment options. Dr. Patitucci performed my surgery and 7 months later, I have no regrets. I have not had any sinus infections or sinus related pain. I had very little pain post surgery and credit it to Dr. Patitucci's amazing work. She has great professionalism, knowledge, and a comforting bedside manner. I would absolutely recommend her.

Dr. Patitucci gave me air! My septum was severely deviated, and I was not able to inhale anything through my right nostril. I am 5 months post surgery and can breath! It feels amazing. My daughter and father have also been treated by her. Highly recommended! Also, I have never been in a friendlier office- the staff are so polite and genuine.
With 25 years of ear cysts, including 3 surgeries as a child and teenager, I know a great ENT. Dr. Lana Patitucci is THE best ENT doc I have ever had the unfortunate need to frequent. I ended up in at Urgent Care on Black Friday and they directed me to the ER. After a less-than-pleasant experience in the ER ( where I found out I was allergic to morphine. . . ) I was sent home with antibiotics and Ibuprofen and 10 pills of Tylenol with Codeine for 10/10 pain. I was told to see an ENT as soon as possible. Leaving the ER at 7pm on Black Friday I knew I was in for a horrendous weekend and the odds of obtaining a same-day ENT appointment 3 days later was slim-to-none. Imagine my surprise when I made my first call on Monday morning and spoke with Aleah at BergerHenry. I didn't even need to plead my case to Aleah, although I did. She was able to fit me in with a same-day appointment with Dr. Patitucci. My husband and I arrived at the Chestnut Hill location and there wasn't another soul in the waiting room. When I approached the reception window, I was greeted by my angel, Aleah. If I could have reached through the window to give her a hug, I would have. Both Aleah and her colleague, Diana greeted my husband and I to the practice. The intake process was easy, as the intake paperwork is found on the BergerHenry website. My husband and I sat down and almost immediately were taken by James (who also welcomed us to the practice!) to the exam room. James was extremely pleasant and told us Dr. Patitucci would take care of me. Enter Dr. Patitucci and her smile lit up the room! She told me immediately that she knew who I was! She was the ENT on-call on Black Friday and knew about my case already. She was disappointed to see that my cyst had not been lanced. She offered me two options - 1) insert a small needle to remove the infection or 2) cut open the cyst and allow it to drain. After my husband left the room (he gets queasy!) we decided on option 1. I will not lie and say it was totally painless. Actually it was quite the opposite. The numbing medication did not burn, but it did feel like my cyst and entire ear was going to explode. After option 1 failed to work, we moved on to option 2. The cyst had to be cut and Dr. Patitucci knew the pain was incredible, but she was the best. She didn't tell me to stop yelling/screaming, but was extremely empathetic. After the numbing medication went to work, the remainder of the procedure was a 5/10 pain wise. A week and half later my pain is around a 3/10. Dr. Patitucci referred me to a surgeon who I will see at the beginning of January. She promised to send the surgeon complete notes of my case and I trust she will. The follow up appointment with Dr. Patitucci was at the East Norriton location and she was extremely happy with my progress. She made me promise to never go to the ER again. She said that I am now an established patient and would be able to see her whenever I needed in case of an emergency. I trust Dr. Patitucci and the entire BergerHenry team more than I have ever trusted another medical practice. If you have any ENT issue, call BergerHenry immediately. If you cannot get an appointment with Dr. Patitucci, I am sure all of the other doctors are just as competent, kind, and caring! Thanks for everything!
