Interviewer:
So, what brought you in to see Dr. Morehouse?

Patient:
I came in to see Dr. Morehouse because I was having chronic pain and a headache on both sides of my temples which started back in December and it wasn’t going away. It was clear to me that it wasn’t just, you know, tension headaches or whatever. These are things I have had before but not every day for two straight months.

Interviewer:
What did you think of Dr. Morehouse when you met him?

Patient:
I thought that Dr. Morehouse was very engaging. I could relate to him. He was an everyday person like my brother and I could talk with him. He obviously cared about me and my situation. I could sense that he had empathy for what I was dealing with.

Interviewer:
What was the procedure that Dr. Morehouse recommended for you?

Patient:
He recommended that in lieu of actually having surgery to come in and do a balloon sinuplasty. I believe that is what it is called and I decided to have that. It was less invasive and he could do it in the office with just much faster results.

Interviewer:
What was your experience like the day of the procedure?

Patient:
What was neat about it was that I drove myself there, drove myself out, and was only there for about an hour and a half. It probably would have been faster but I think there was somebody in front of me but, the procedure itself didn’t take long, 20 minutes, maybe a half an hour. So, it was great to be able to do it in the office. I drove away. I drove back to my work, was working later that day, same day actually. I didn’t have to go into a hospital. I didn’t have to check-in or check-out or go through any of that hassle.

Interviewer:
What was your experience after the procedure in terms of the symptoms you had before? How are you feeling now?

Patient:
Well, before, I was feeling obviously the headaches. I was also feeling very congested, very full and my head felt very full. My head felt fogged. I was walking around with brain fog all the time. Afterward, well, there were a few days where I had congestion with some bloody discharge and so forth, but it cleared up pretty quickly. I had the procedure on Friday and, by Monday, I was feeling much better and then every day after that, I would say for about a week, I had a little bit of stuff in me but then it was gone and my headaches are gone. It made just a huge difference. I don’t feel all congested all the time. I feel better than I have in years to be honest with you. It is amazing!

Interviewer:
Would you recommend this procedure to a friend?

Patient:
I would. I would. It is really incredible and am honestly glad that I had the surgery and what it has done for me. I am really glad I did it!
